February 4, 2016 – Toronto – TourRadar, the popular global distribution marketplace for multi-day group tours, recognizes the most important tours and people in the travel industry each year. Since 2012, the TourRadar Awards are determined by real traveller reviews from the year, recognizing the top tour guides and group tours in the industry.
TourRadar’s travellers have made their picks this year and thousands of reviews were received for the Awards. From those, TourRadar saw the largest percentage of reviews coming from those living in the UK and the most detailed reviews from the UK and Australia.
For the second consecutive year, ThaIntro has been awarded the prestigious title of Tour of the Year. Winners in the other categories include Busabout and Topdeck Travel. To see all winners, check out our full list of Tour of the Year Award winners. This one of a kind award is unique and valuable to anyone planning their next journey, as the winners are based on the opinion of real travellers rather than a set group.
This year’s Guide of the Year Award winner is Harry Bradbury from TruTravels.
TourRadar has played a big part in bringing together and recognizing those at the heart of the traveller experience, tour guides.
One traveller says “Harry gave me the confidence and knowledge to continue on my travels by myself.” Other travellers describe Harry as a “legend” and as someone who was able to make “memories that last a lifetime.” Rumour has it that a traveller even tattooed his name on their body this year!
TourRadar houses over 40,000 real traveller reviews, making them a go-to hub for travellers looking to learn about tours, get inspired and make a decision for their next adventure, whether big or small.
