TORONTO, ON, June 14, 2016 – CrowdRiff is a visual influence platform that enables travel and hotel companies to find the best images and videos on social media, then use this content for the brand’s marketing needs. Seamlessly integrating with any digital channel including a property’s website, the software harnesses the power of authentic, user-generated visual content to make a brand the authority on its local area and drive engagement.
As of today, Crowdriff has completed its first hotel property installations for the websites of New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania and Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach. With these two successful implementations, CrowdRiff’s custom product for hotels and resorts is officially ready for hospitality properties around the world.
“Finding great photography to best show our resort and the area’s attractions has been a constant struggle,” said Reggie Brown, General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach. “CrowdRiff has eased this concern by sourcing tens of thousands of authentic shots from social media to help give guests a real sense of what’s in store when they visit Carlsbad.”
CrowdRiff works by searching and compiling all visual content related to specific topics, keywords and locations from social networks like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter into one cloud-based collection. From there, hoteliers can choose the best photos or videos to display on any marketing channel to add an authentic view of their property and region to potential guests.
CrowdRiff is already a tremendously successful product for DMOs and CVBs, currently used by over 100 destinations across North America, the Caribbean and Australia – including Destination Canada, Nassau Paradise Island, Colorado Tourism, Travel Portland and Destination New South Wales.
“We’re excited to be one of the first hotels to deploy CrowdRiff,” said Steve Baker, Director of Sales and Marketing at New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania. “After witnessing how powerful the product is for tourism boards and attractions, we are confident that Crowdriff will likewise heighten our brand awareness and user engagement with our site as well as boost our profile as an authority on Midtown Manhattan.”
CrowdRiff will officially unveil its new hotel product at HITEC 2016, the world’s largest hospitality technology tradeshow, held this year in New Orleans, LA, from June 20th to 23th. This is the first time CrowdRiff will exhibit at HITEC (Booth #2045), and it will be an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate how the platform leverages social media to build brand awareness.
