TourRadar’s Online Travel Expo goes worldwide for the first time, expands with more tour operators and offers up to 50% off
DECEMBER 30, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – Who says you need to get out of your pyjamas or even leave home to enjoy all of the benefits of a travel expo? TourRadar is officially running their first free, worldwide Online Travel Expo starting January 23rd, 2016 exclusively at http://www.tourradar.com/online-expo.
“This Online Travel Expo aims to inspire people to travel,” said Christian Wolters, North American Managing Director at TourRadar. “We want to show people what they can do, see and experience all while making the process easier and offering them the best discount possible – up to 50% off.”
The Online Travel Expo will feature exclusive travel discounts from top operators worldwide. Attendees can also chat with group tour experts, get inspired by travel videos and short talks by exhibitors, all from their own home. The old-fashioned expo houses large crowds, line-ups and getting out of your pyjamas is a must. By moving the popular event online, TourRadar has transcended the typical idea of the expo, making it convenient, online and easy to participate.
At TourRadar’s regional Online Expo in Australia held in October 2015, 18 worldwide partners including G Adventures, Contiki, Topdeck Travel and more participated in the event. Attendees visited and were able to learn, ask questions in real-time and book at highly discounted prices.
“We wanted to make the travel expo easier for people to participate, learn about specific tour operators and get fantastic discounts,” said Travis Pittman, CEO and Co-Founder at TourRadar. “We’ve taken everything you would expect from your regular expo, and put it right on your computer, tablet or phone’s screen.”
